Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Adamawa State for the 2027 elections, has strongly countered allegations raised by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) and NDC chieftain, Engr. David Babachir Lawal.
The feud follows claims by Lawal accusing Binani and other North-East NDC governorship candidates of working against the party’s national interests after they rejected his self-proclaimed leadership in the zone.
Responding through the Director of Media and Public Affairs for her Campaign Organisation, Mathias Yohanna, in Yola over the weekend, Binani dismissed Lawal’s accusations, stating she would not be intimidated by “indecent language” or personal attacks.
