If you use mobile banking in Nigeria, new BVN rules will take effect from May 1 across all BVN-linked bank accounts.

The Central Bank of Nigeria says the measures including one device per banking app, extra verification for device changes, transfer limits, and stricter registration rules are aimed at improving security and reducing fraud.
