The Yobe State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has said it refunded N1 million allegedly paid to one of its members after a meeting of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) over the recently concluded local government elections in the state.
The party said the money was deposited into the account of an individual who attended the meeting on September 22, 2026, at the office of the Special Adviser to the Yobe State Government on Inter-Party Affairs, Abdu Mamman Zoto.
In a statement issued yesterday and signed by its State Secretary, Mamu Alhaji Muhammad, the party said its representative at the meeting was not authorised by its leadership to attend.
