The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reacted to reports of AI-Generated images on the published voters’ register.
In the preliminary register that the commission published after the outcry over alleged violation of the Electoral Act, there were entries from a polling unit in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, which had photographs suspected to be generated by AI.
This has fueled speculations online, with many doubting the credibility of the process.
